Events Include:
Modular layouts from McPherson, KS.,
Grandview, MO. and two layouts from Wichita, KS. Model railroad
contests with a Best Katy category, a swap meet with 6,000 sq.
feet of space and a new facility location with heating & cooling
for a great model railroad atmosphere. Also included at this location
is the History Zone and the Parsons Invitational Pie Society (PIPS)
selling homemade pies.
Contests Categories:
Diesel, Steam, Caboose, Rolling Stock, Structures & Best Katy
(includes any Katy item in the above categories)
Contest Rules:
1. You must be in
attendance to enter a contest.
2. The contest entry
must be your own work.
3. The entry cannot
be mounted on a board, mirror or track unless entered as a module.
4. Limit of 3 items
per category and 3 categories total.
5. No accompanying
photos.
Contest entries
close at 10:30 Saturday morning. Voting is done by popular ballot
only. No NMRA judging will be available at this meet.
